And lo the end is nigh (part II)

Well, this counts as later I suppose.

I have a question to pose to you all who may take the time to visit my lowly blog:

Which do you prefer, project finals, or test finals?

The reason I ask is because, I happen to be a fan of the project final myself.

Projects give a student time to work and research and come out with something which they may or may not be proud of.

Projects give the opportunity for students to find an aspect of a given topic to become interested in, and thus give their all.

Projects give others wiggle room to decide what could be improved, as opposed to just telling someone straight out that they aren't good enough to participate in a given subject.

in short, I find them more fun, and less harsh than test finals.

but that's simply my opinion.

For example, this final for comm 111 is a n in-depth version of a previous piece of work which we've all been able to choose for ourselves. As the case stands, each of us in class were not only able to find something which interested us, but were given the time to thoroughly discover more aspects of the topic which would in turn make the topic more interesting.

just imagine, if you would, if instead of this project, we were given a 75 question, correct the grammar mistakes test.

just saying, in my opinion, it could have been much much worse.
