Much ado about Books

Yeah, the title is cliche, so sue my lawyer. He has more money than me.

When was the last time you read a book which simply floored you? Where you read an intro, a descriptive  dialogue, an entirely profound way of thinking, whatever.

Because it's been a while or me. I admit that I've slowed my reading habits somewhat over the years, but I've tried to make up for it by reading from a greater variety of international authors. And honestly, nothing seems to get me like it used to.

I remember the good old days when every story about a knight saving a princess from a dragon was an exciting page turner. Now, I just find myself bored. Does anyone else suffer from this?

     More later.

  1. I also suffer from book boredom on occasion. The last book that really left an impression was 11/22/63 by Stephen King. I connected strongly with the main characters and by the last page I was said to say goodbye to my new friends.

  2. Me too! I used to read all the time, and now nothing interests me! I miss getting lost in a good book.
